King of pop and craziness.

I was flipping through channels when I came across a news story about the passing of Michael Jackson.  It really floored me because he seemed larger than life and it just didn’t possible.  When I was growing up I had a couple tapes that I would put in my Walkman and listen to at full volume.  They were Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul, and Bon Jovi.  When I was home alone I would put in Michael Jackson’s or Paula Abdul, shut the curtains and dance around.  I think one of the reasons I liked those 2 artists the best is because I also thought they were amazing dancers.

Thankfully, my music tastes have matured but anytime I hear a Michael Jackson song (and I will admit I have some of his music on my Ipod) I turn up the volume and sing at the top of my lungs.  I can’t talk about Michael Jackson without saying how strange he was.  He is a very strange man who made some poor choices.  However, I hope that his legacy remembers him as an amazing artist and one of the most influential and talented dancers of all time.

I hope that he finds peace in the afterlife that he could never grasp in this life.
