Well the day was actually yesterday…but the thought is the same. November 12, 2009 was the day that I began to worry about my job for next year. The Superintendent came to talk at our staff meeting and said that we looking at cutting about 4 million for next year and 6 million or so the year after that. Remind me again why I’m a teacher?
The good news about yesterday was that I finished my report cards and even came up with “teacher talk” for a kid who is a tattle tale (well actually, Stacy did, but I’m taking credit). Tanner needs to remember to keep focused on his own business. I had a work day today and I don’t know what I did for 8 hours, but I can tell you it wasn’t productive. I feel that if I didn’t like the people I work with, I would get a lot more done! Guess I’ll be going in over the weekend!
