Thumbs up, high five for Christmas Eve. **Christmas Part 1**

This is the newest thing that our nieces and nephews say when they like something “thumbs up, high five” is VERY high praise for them to give.  So I am giving Christmas Eve thumbs up and a high five!

Here is our Christmas Eve in photos:

All the cousins together…

Isaac-age 5…

Carrie-age 4…

Anna-age 9…

Finn-18 months…

James-Age 7…

The house was decorated with care…

Waiting patiently to open presents…it’s so hard…

If the chaos of Christmas Eve could be captured in one photograph, this would be it…

I love this picture of Josh’s Grandma…she’s such a lovely person inside and out and I believe this photograph captures that…

Please, please can we open presents now, please????!!!!!

Finn was thrilled to get no less than 2 cell phones…

Go get your phone, he’s calling you now!

These are the presents that we got for our nieces and nephews…who wouldn’t like to sleep on their own face?

Finn spending some quality time with one of his very favorite people, Grandpa…

All the presents have been unwrapped…

Here is a video of Christmas Eve that Josh and I shot.  It starts out with the kids singing some carols, who doesn’t love that?  It ends with the great violin talents of Anna.  As you enjoy her playing (as well as the dancing that happens around her playing), keep in mind that she is 9 years old.  I am more than positive that there are middle and high school students are not this accomplished.

Our Christmas will be coming in parts so not to overwhelm.  I hope that you had a wonderful holiday with your family.  And in Tiny Tim’s words “God bless us, everyone.”

**Blast from the past…here is what I was up to a year ago**
