A conversation from the car.

We have some of our best conversations in the car.  Finn, like his mother and father, like to listen to music, loudly in the car.  If we’re not talking, Finn is asking us to turn up the music.

We were listening to the news and heard they’re trying to raise minimum wage in Minnesota to over $10 an hour.

Me: I remember when I worked for minimum wage in high school, it was $5.15 an hour.  What is it now?  $7.25?

Josh: It’s more if the company does business across state lines.

Finn: Can you please turn the music down, I can’t hear you.  I turn down music.  What did you say?

Me:  Mama and Daddy were talking about how they’re raising the minimum wage and Daddy said if the company does business in multiple states, it has to be higher.

Long Pause…

Finn: So there’s no juice for me to drink?
